| Musical Auditions 2024 2024-05-15 | Calling all actors, singers and dancers! We are excited to announce the musical for 2024, Elf - The Musical Jr.! Auditions will take place June 19th from 4:30 - 6:30 pm. If you are interested in auditioning, please join our google classroom with the class code: p6kfwgk. There, you will find audition materials and information on what to expect for the audition. If you have any questions, feel free to chat with Ms. Serdeschni, Mr. Kornelsen or Ms. Peters. |
| Rugby 2024-05-15 | The girls battled at Maple Grove Rugby Park again this Wednesday. In the first matchup of the night they beat Dakota Collegiate with a score of 31-5. The second game of the night was a rematch against St. Mary's. This week the academy was victorious with a score of 20-12. The Sabres played Stonewall in the final game of the night. Unfortunately, they lost by a score of 22-0. Julia Frank scored 3 tries, Abigayle Rocchio scored 2, Kyleen Garcia scored 1 and converted 4 kicks for a total of 13 points. Both Julia Frank and Kyleen Garcia were awarded with the "players of the night". The girls will be back in action next week with a full roster. They play league games at Maple Grove on Wednesday and will host their annual SRSS Invitational Rugby Tournament at A.D. Penner all day Friday, the 24th. Come cheer them on! |
| Girls Fastball 2024-05-14 | Our girls fastball team played in Winkler this past weekend. During our round robin pool play, we started off by playing a tough game against Virden, and unfortunately lost 8-6. Our girls continued on throughout the tournament, winning each game after that with a 12-1 win against Mikisew, and 4-3 against WC Miller Aces (Altona). From there we found ourselves in a 3way tie with Altona and Virden for 1st, but fell short on the runs for and against, so therefore got placed 3rd in our pool. From there we got re-pooled for Saturdays games where we faced Pilot mound, winning 12-1 and Nellie McClung, also winning 7-5. Overall, it may not have been quite the turn out that we had hoped for, but our girls played hard and persevered through the intense wind and heat all weekend! We are super proud of them! Our fastball zones tournament is coming up on on May 21/22 at AD Penner park. We would love see people come out to cheer us on during their lunch hours. |
